Apple has just completed its September keynote. The event, called ‘Far Out’ left us with a lot of new productswhich we were almost certainly expecting a lot from the leaks that have been circulating over the past few months.
As is often the case these days, the main protagonist was the Cupertino company’s phone, the iPhone, but we also saw new Apple Watch smartwatches and even new AirPods Pro wireless headphones.
Below you will find all the products presented by Apple this Wednesday, September 7. If you want more information, in the link that accompanies the name of each product you will find all the details and their technical data sheets.
All the latest from Apple’s “Far Out”
iPhone 14. We are facing the mobile which aspires, one more year, to become a bestseller. Unlike its Pro siblings, the iPhone 14 retains the notch and keep the chip A15 bionic. It has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with improved brightness, but no change in resolution.
The main sensor is still 12 MP, and is accompanied by a secondary sensor, also 12 MP. However, Apple explains that it has improved photographic capabilities, both in image capture and video. The new iPhone will be available from €1,009.
iPhone 14Plus. The surname “Plus” returns. In this case, this translates into a screen with a larger diagonal, 6.7 inches to be precise, but with a design identical to the iPhone 14, even the heart is also the A15 Bionic. The cameras are still at 12 MP, but they are also improving, not only at the hardware level, but also at the software level thanks to the Photonic Engine.
Bigger size means more space for the battery. Although Apple hasn’t provided mAh details, it says it offers up to 20 hours of video playback. It is also compatible with 20W fast charging and wireless charging. Price? Since €1,159.
iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. The most notable design upgrade to these phones, which come in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch sizes, is the farewell notch rumble. This has been replaced by a new system called Dynamic Island, which offers a new way to display notifications.
Inside, these Pro models come with Apple’s new processor, the 4-nanometer A16 Bionic. It is a chip that promises to be 20% more efficient than the A15 Bionic that we have known since last year and which in 2022 will continue to be alive and well as it is integrated into the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus.
At the photographic level, we are faced with the most ambitious option from Apple. The phones finally leave behind the main 12 MP camera. Now they have a 48 MP, which is always accompanied by a pair of 12 MP (ultra wide angle and telephoto), and the front, also 12 MP.
We have also seen how Always on show comes exclusively to the screen of these iPhones. However, they also share features with the rest of the range, such as the satellite system for emergencies and SIM-free operation. Price starts from €1,319.
Apple Watch SE. Apple’s cheapest smartwatch has been revamped with the packaged system SiP S8, a key component of the new Apple Watch Series 8, new motion sensors with traffic accident detection and more. will be sold from 299 €.
Apple Watch Series 8. This new model incorporates a temperature sensor with functionalities oriented towards the menstrual cycle. It also comes with crash detection, new watch faces and straps, and a battery with up to 18 hours of battery life in normal mode. Price? From 499 euros.
Apple Watch Ultra. Rumors said that we were going to see a watch focused on the most demanding users, and they have come true. We are facing a device that focuses on personalization, with a new button; advanced features and battery life.
The device has a titanium case which is accompanied by a sapphire crystal display capable of delivering brightness of up to 2000 nits, which is twice as much as the other Apple Watch. It even has a specially designed night mode. Can be purchased for 999 €.
AirPods Pro. The second generation of Apple’s best wireless in-ear headphones comes with an exciting promise: up to twice the noise cancellation of the previous version. That comes with longer battery life, an in-box speaker and more. Its price is 299 €.
iOS16. Apple has finally confirmed the release date of the final version of iOS 16. It will be available for all users from the next September 12. Of course, iPhone 7 and all previous devices will be excluded from the update.
